The Romanian national teams, both male and female, will compete with those of the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Spain and Turkey, over three days of competition, with the goal being to qualify for the final tournament of the 3×3 World Basketball Championships for youth.

The games will take place on the landscaped indoor field in ParkLake Shopping Center, and access to the event is free. Fans are expected to support the tricolor teams and also enjoy a generous fan zone, which will be set up outdoors on the access road to the IOR park.

Basketball-themed games and contests that will promote outdoor movement, a real marathon of prizes, activities for all family members, non-stop music and many other surprises are prepared to welcome those who are passionate about basketball and sports in particular in general.

Germany, bronze medalists at the 2023 Youth Worlds for men, the Czech Republic, fifth in the same competition, and Spain, third in last year’s Nations League final for women, are the main favorites for the competition where spectators will have the opportunity to watch future stars olympics of this discipline.

3×3 basketball is present starting with the Tokyo 2020 edition in the program of the Olympic Games.
