Spectacular exhibition, 100 years since the first issue of the Sports Gazette in ParkLake

On the 100th anniversary of the first issue of the newspaper, on September 14, the editorial office brings to the public a spectacular exhibition with a selection of the most memorable front pages of the newspaper, as well as unique archival photographs.

They can be seen for two weeks on the ground floor of the ParkLake Shopping Center, right on one of the main aisles. 15 impressive panels depict in images the impressive history of one of Europe’s longest-running sports publications.

From the first issue printed on September 14, 1924, passing through anthological moments of Romanian sport such as Nadia’s performance in 1976 in Montreal, or the unprecedented success of the Golden Generation at the 1994 World Cup in the USA, to recent performances that delighted the public, such as Simona Halep’s Wimbeldon victory over Serena Williams or David Popovici’s Olympic gold at the Paris Olympics.

All can be admired until September 27 on the ground floor of the ParkLake shopping center.
