Pioneers such as Aurel Vlaicu – the first Romanian to build and pilot an aircraft on our lands, Traian Vuia – the first person to achieve a fully self-propelled flight, or Henri Coandă, the inventor of the first jet aircraft, have placed Romania on the international aviation map.

Over time, Romanian engineers and pilots have continued to innovate, whether in military, civil, or sport aviation.

Today, aviation is not just a strategic industry but also a passion that brings people together from all over the world.
