A weekend with a holiday flavor: ParkLake brings the flavors and traditions of Turkey closer to the community
From June 12 to 14, ParkLake Shopping Center invites visitors to discover a cultural and culinary experience inspired by the charm of Turkey, in a festival dedicated to traditions, music, authentic tastes and moments spent together.
For three days, ParkLake becomes a space full of color, rhythm and flavor, a space where visitors can explore dishes and products specific to Turkish culture in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. From grilled dishes, Turkish coffee, gözleme, döner kebab, baklava, lokma and künefe, to ice cream, nuts, peanuts, other Turkish desserts and perfumes, the festival brings a part of Turkey’s culinary and sensory richness closer.
The festival atmosphere will be enlivened every evening, starting at 5:30 PM, by an artistic program dedicated to Turkish culture, which will include live music in Turkish, performances by professional and amateur artists, as well as folklore moments presented by groups that bring representative dances, costumes and traditions to the forefront. Saturday also includes an official moment, with the participation of representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Bucharest, Gazete Balkan and local Romanian authorities, followed by folklore moments supported by Turkish and Turkish-Tatar communities in Romania. The program can be consulted here
By hosting this festival, ParkLake continues to create contexts in which the community gathers around authentic experiences, cultural diversity and the joy of discovering new things together. The event is an invitation to explore, socialize and connect, in an accessible, lively and friendly setting, where traditions are transformed into memorable moments for the whole family.
