Toma Caragiu Exhibition

On the 100th anniversary of Toma Caragiu’s birth, ParkLake hosts the “TOMA” exhibition, a visual tribute signed by Adrian Mitu, dedicated to one of Romania’s most beloved actors.

The project brings together 12 works created in a 22-day marathon, inspired by key moments in his career: over 50 years since “The Actor and the Wild Ones”, 55 years since the beginning of the comic series, his last artistic performance, “The Long Journey of Day to Night” and his New Year’s Eve sketches, so symbolic for the public. Scenes that Romanians have carried with them for decades, reinterpreted in a modern pop-art vision.
