FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series & Youth Nations League Bucharest August 7 – 9, 2026

International-level 3×3 basketball returns to ParkLake Shopping Center, a traditional destination for this type of sporting event.

From August 7-9, from Friday to Sunday, the 3×3 basketball court that will be set up in the Atrium area will host two international competitions, the FIBA ​​3×3 Women’s Series (from the women’s world circuit) and the FIBA ​​3×3 Nations League (the under-23 world youth circuit).

In addition to the 3×3 basketball matches, an outdoor area dedicated to fans will be set up in the area facing IOR Park, with various sports activities, games, contests with prizes and activation areas for the event’s partners.

– Competition dedicated to young people under 23

– 12 national teams from six countries: Greece, France, Great Britain, Serbia, Spain and Romania

FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series

– Stage of the professional women’s world circuit, in which both national teams and private (or club) teams participate

– 16 teams from 11 countries: The Netherlands, Rapid Bucharest (Romania), Germany, China, Latvia, France, Beijing (China), Lithuania, Austria, Yanjing (China), Poland, Ireland, Romania, Riga (Latvia), Bucharest (Romania), Belgium

– Top players from the world circuit, players participating in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

– Rapid Bucharest, the first professional women’s 3×3 team in Romania, recently winner of the similar tournament in Caceres (Spain), a team that finished last season among the top eight teams in the world.
